Square's projects
Take
a look at some of the exciting projects in which Civic Square LLC
is involved:

the planned Morris Square development in Charleston, S.C. |
Morris
Square - David Agnew is one of the developers of this 2.7
acre, mixed-use urban infill project located in downtown Charleston,
South Carolina. The project will include 70 homes, 2 parks, a playground,
and a hardscape piazza with a fountain. The parks and public spaces
will be the centerpiece of this award-winning project. Homes will
range in size from 900 s.f. to over 2,300 s.f. and will include an
assortment of building types (single family detached, townhomes, and
condos). Sales prices will range from $325,000 to more than $800,000.
Proceeds from the project will also contribute to the creation of
15-18 affordable homes on the Charleston Peninsula.
30
Mary Street - Located in the Mazyck-Wraggborough Neighborhood,
30-32 Mary Street is a beautiful 1890's building that was redeveloped
by Civic Square in 2005-2006. Civic Square renovated the main building,
dramatically upgrading its physical condition and establishing the
master regime. The back lot was also redeveloped to accommodate
2 new homes. Units range in size from 400 s.f. to 1900 s.f. and
in price from $189,000 to over $700,000.
16-18
Jasper Street - Civic Square is currently in the process of
redeveloping a small site located near MUSC in downtown Charleston.
The project began with the complete renovation of an existing, historic
single-family home located on the site. Civic Square will now redevelop
the remainder of the site, ultimately adding two new, 1900 s.f.
homes. Sales prices for the homes will begin in the $700,000's.
King
& Calhoun - Civic Square is serving as a development consultant
in the redevelopment of one of the most prominent corners in downtown
Charleston. The project will ultimately include 52 new high-end
condos, 28,000 s.f. of storefront retail space, 28,000 s.f. of Class
A office space, and a new parking garage. The property sits directly
across from the newly-renovated Marion Square.
Concord
Park - Civic Square is currently working as a development consultant
with East West Partners on the Concord Park project in downtown
Charleston. Located near the South Carolina Aquarium, the 10-acre
site is currently owned by the City of Charleston. As a result of
an extensive RFP process, the City selection committee recently
selected East West Partners as its developer of choice. Expected
to get underway in 2007, the project will ultimately include over
200 new homes (a mixture of market-rate and affordable), a new hotel,
an office building, and a beautiful 5-acre park.

of how Hammond's Ferry will look. |
Hammond's
Ferry - As a development consultant for Leyland Alliance,
David Agnew helped secure project approvals and manage the charrette
design process for this 200-acre mixed-use new urban project located
in North Augusta, South Carolina. This award-winning project will
ultimately include over 800 homes, business, churches, schools,
and a number of beautiful new parks, including a 1-mile long riverfront
park along the Savannah River.
Crane
Island - Civic Square is one of the owners of this 200-acre
waterfront property located near Fernandina Beach, Florida. Though
still in the approval process, the plan is to create a new waterfront
village that is respectful of the Island's natural beauty and history.
